Bury Hill topsoil is substantially compliant with the British Standard specification for Ericaceous Topsoil. Minor variations have been identified in the following areas, which our soil scientists consider to have minimal impact when managed appropriately and according to plant requirements:

• Higher sand content
• Slightly elevated pH
• Lower nitrogen content
• Higher carbon-to-nitrogen (C) ratio

To optimise plant establishment and overall soil performance, we recommend applying ICL Osmocote PrePlant at the time of planting to supplement nutrient levels and balance the C ratio.
