Bury Hill John Innes Potting Compost No. 3 is formulated to the original recipe developed by the John Innes Horticultural Research Institute during the 1930s, maintaining the trusted blend that has been relied upon by gardeners for generations.

As the most nutrient-rich compost in the John Innes range, No. 3 contains three times the nutrient content of the No. 1 blend. It is ideal for use in pots, containers and raised beds, and is particularly suited to established plants, trees, shrubs and climbers, including fruit trees, fruit bushes, vines and mature houseplants.

Bury Hill John Innes Potting Compost No. 3 also provides excellent support for vigorous, heavy-feeding plants such as tomatoes and chrysanthemums, helping to promote strong, healthy growth throughout the growing season.
