The IM65A's angled magazine is the defining feature of this nailer — specifically designed to reach into corners, tight junctions, and restricted spaces where a straight nailer cannot be positioned accurately. Despite its capability, it is the lightest and best-balanced finish nailer in the Paslode range, reducing fatigue during extended use and making it easier to manoeuvre precisely on detailed work.

30 joules of driving power ensures a consistent flush finish across a range of materials including softwoods and dense MDF, without the need for adjustment between applications. The no-mar tip protects finished surfaces from marking during use, important when working on visible trim and joinery.

The lithium battery charges rapidly and delivers up to 10,000 shots per charge — the equivalent of five brad fuel packs — keeping downtime to a minimum on busy sites. The battery is compatible with up to nine Paslode tools, making it a versatile investment for tradespeople already within the Paslode system.

A Last Nail Lock-Up System prevents the tool from firing when the magazine is empty, protecting both the nailer mechanism and the workpiece from damage. The easy-access nose assembly allows nail jams to be cleared quickly with a clear line of sight to the jam point, minimising interruption to work. The tool requires cleaning only after a minimum of 25,000 shots, allowing sustained productive use between maintenance intervals.
